The 4th of July!

We had a very relaxing fourth this year for a change. It was great. Just the 4 of us! Mason was into the sparklers like never before. He is such a boy its crazy. Cole was asleep at this point, but he had fun at the beach, which of course i forgot my camera for but oh well. It was kind of a rainy day but it was still relaxing. Christmas Time

We had a wonderful Christmas this year. I was so excited for Mason to have someone else besides mommy and daddy there with him to enjoy the morning, even if it was just Cole who had no clue what was going on. But we had a great day. We do our own thing in the morning, i cook a nice big breakfast and we kind of just hang around the house. Then in the afternoon we go to robs parents to do gifts with them and then head to my parents for dinner. Everyone usually comes over after dinner for dessert and we just have a good time. I got probably the best thing that i could ever get, well two things rob got me a record player. I know what your saying seriously a record player but yeah i just love it it just has that sound like its old and I'm just so into everything that's old right now. And my parents got me a vacuum, it is wonderful. It is amazing the things that you get excited about when you have your own house and things like that.

4th of July Fun

It always seems to rain on the fourth so this year were hoping it stays dry, dry enough to go watch the fireworks. We'll see, we decided to have bunch of our friends over and just relax and hang together. It seems like the days and weeks are going by so fast that's its nice to just relax with friends and have fun. If it wasn't so hot here it would be even better, but we'll deal. This is Coles first fourth, not that he cares, but its his first holiday he will be celebrating with us, so thats exciting. Last year Mason was not to fond of the fireworks, he got really scared from the noise, but once they were exploding in the air he could not take his eyes off of them. This year he was all about the fireworks, i think its a boy thing. Even at this early age its amazing to them. We got a gazebo for the backyard so it was nice to be outside in the shade. I have been wanting one of these things forever and finally we got it. So i hope everyone had a great holiday.

Father's Day Lovin

We had a great day yesterday. We just kind of hung around home for the most part, after a nice breakfast at robs parents house. Nice relaxing day. Mason woke up itching to give daddy his gift (which was a couple of candy bars tied together),but he couldn't wait. And of course we had to let daddy sleep in. So at some point i said ok lets go wake up daddy, and he could not be more excited. He ran into our room and yelled out "happy fathers day" quickly followed with "what's a father"? Daddy is the word around here so i told him it was another word for that and he said "no i like daddy better" so we had a greats Daddys day instead.

Happy Mothers Day!

What a wonderful day i had. Got to sleep in a little bit, not that i ever sleep in but it was nice to just take my time. Then my wonderfull husband and son made me a very yummy breakfast. I ate it all no problem.

Doesn't it look great, blueberry pancakes with strawberries and fresh whipped cream. After this we were all so full we kind of just took it easy and hung around home, it was great relaxing day. Hope all the moms out there had a great day.

We had a wonderful Easter sunday this year. We had a nice morning just the three of us, we hid some eggs for Mason to find and he could not be more excited that he was finding these eggs everywhere, it was so cute. Then in the afternoon we headed over to Jeffs house to hang with them. We had great food and a lot of fun. The guys went outside and hid some eggs for all of them to go find together. It is so much fun watching them all get so excited over finding these eggs. And then we went over to robs parents for a little and masons other couins were there. And of course we had to have another egg hunt there. So yeah my child is spoiled he got to participate in three different egg hunts so what. It was a great day and we were all exhausted at the end of the day. Hope everyone had a great day.

Labor Day

Beautiful day on the boat for the holiday. Monday everyone had the day off of work, so we took the boat out for some fun. We had a great time. It is nice to relax on the water. We brought food and had a nice cook out. It s was a great day.

Christmas morning. So much fun this year, Mason got so into opening his presents. Rob and I justs loved watching his expressions each time he opened something new. After a while all he wanted to do was pretty much play with his new toys instead of opening anymore, but it was still a lot of fun.
